7 Practical Steps to Refocus 1. Repent for any area of your life where you have become disobedient or slothful in the things of God. 2. Redirect your attention ( time, resources, energy, and effort) towards the original intent of God for your life. 3. Develop a daily bible reading/prayer and meditation schedule. * For Plif Mens prayer line on Mon and Wed and Women on Tuesday and Thursday. *For PLIF 30 day bible reading challenge posting what you gained from the text after meditation. 4. Connect with an missional accountably/support group ( some call them small groups, life groups, connect groups, or growth group). ( remember iron sharpens iron and two are better than 1) lastly, although small groups have many forms these should not be silos, factions, cancerous cells or covert opportunities to overthrow the order and structure of the church but a place to genuinely connect to other believers who really want to grow closer to God and stronger in Him. 5. Determine to be at midweek Bible Study and Sunday morning service consistently. (You cant be taught what you are not present for) If you are not connected to a local assembly find one and get rooted and grounded. 6. Find out where your spiritual gifts are strongest and match them with a ministry within the local assemble and get busy using your gifts to strengthen the work God has connected you to. 7. Find an outlet to serve outside the 4 walls of the church. (We were all born with an inner desire to give to others and to serve.)
