7 WAYS TO TELL IF A MAN IS LYING TO YOU 1. WATCH THE BODY LANGUAGE One of the surefire ways to tell your partner is telling the truth is to watch their body language. If they are approachable and they aren’t acting weird at all, why would you think that they are lying? Watch your partner’s body language so that you can know for sure if they are acting a little strange – once they start acting strange, that is one of the top signs that your partner might be lying to you. However, straightforward body language is absolutely one of the top ways to tell your partner is telling the truth! 2. DO THEY ROUTINELY LIE TO YOU? How is your trust with your partner? Do you have a lot of it and does he or she lie to you frequently? This is one of the top things that you need to think about when you are deciding how to tell if your partner is telling the truth. Take your trust into consideration. If they don’t lie to you a lot, why do you think that they are lying now? 3. WATCH THEIR EYES While you might be watching their body language, you don’t ever want to forget about watching their eyes too! Trust me on this, girls and guys, the eyes will give you everything that you need to know if you are watching close enough! Also, if they meet your gaze head-on, without wavering, that’s a good sign that they are telling the truth. 4. MAKE THEM REPEAT THE STORY Now, if you are lying, typically, it’s really hard to tell the exact same story over and over again. If for some reason you have a feeling that your partner is lying to you, make them repeat the story to you. If they do it in the same fashion and there aren’t any blips in the story, why not believe them? 5. PUPILS AREN’T DILATED Believe it or not, your pupils actually dilate a little bit when you are lying, almost as if they want to give away the lie completely. So, if your boyfriend or girlfriend’s pupils aren’t dilated and they will meet your eyes quite easily, give them a break, they are probably telling the truth! 6. NO NERVOUS GESTURES How about the gestures that they have with their hands? Do you see any nervous ticks that might not have been there before and only happen when your partner is lying? If you aren’t seeing anything, most likely you are not getting lied to at all! 7. RECALLS THE EVENT EXACTLY HOURS AFTER TELLING YOU Finally, if you’ve asked your boyfriend or girlfriend to repeat the story hours or even days later and they still recall the exact same story that they gave you in the first place, chances are, you are getting told the truth. You aren’t getting lied to at all! So girls and guys, remember, you’ve got to have some trust in your partner, you can’t immediately suspect that they are lying to you.
