7 YR OLD BOY, WALKS WITH A LIMP, ABANDONED IN HIS TIME OF NEED & SHUTTING DOWN... HE FLAILS AROUND AND CRIES OUT IN FEAR :( Bruce is so fearful that the ACC couldnt complete his behavior evaluation. All he wanted to do was flee the room. For this reason, he was rated rescue only & can only be pulled by an approved New Hope rescue. A volunteer writes: Bruce and Charlie were found abandoned together, two middle aged gentlemen who desperately need a compass now that they have lost their familiar environment. Bruce is a gorgeous Rotweiler mix, well nourished, healthy looking and wearing a thick and shiny ebony coat with nice markings. His eyes are clear and his teeth, beautiful. His muzzle is greying. Bruce lays almost immobile on his couch. He sees me but does not move an inch. I lasso his neck, pull gently with encouraging words and here comes Bruce. He walks slowly but surely around the block. He has a limp... He eliminates on the way without marking. He does not mind me taking pictures. As I sit on a bench at the entrance of the care center, Bruce stands in front of me and slowly, very slowly, comes closer and closer and sits on my foot, then lays down. His limb might be hurting him and slowing him down. I can pet him all over. He seems fine with it. Bruce is frozen. It is hard to see through his blurry mind and decipher who he really is... I so hope that Bruce and Charlie will have that chance to restart their life again as forever best and cherished friends.... So please, be his hero tonight & make his world right again.
