7 years ago to the minute my labour pains started on Katie. 3 months earlier than expected. It was the most terrifying time of both mine and Roberts life not knowing if Katie would survive. She was born at 1:16 pm by emergency section and was taken straight to the NEO unit where she was looked after by some of the most amazing doctors and nurses known to man. We have had a lot of ups and downs with Katie over the last 7 years mostly ups as no matter what obstacle is put in her way she overcomes it. When we raise all the funds needed for Katie we know this will give her the independence she really deserves because Katie has a very stubborn streak and if someone says you cant she will prove them 100% wrong. She proved everyone wrong 7 years ago and shw WILL do it again.
