70 years ago today, The Battle of the Bulge raged on during a blistering winter in the Ardennes forest. The fierce fighting claimed the lives of thousands of US soldiers. It all started on December 16th, 1945- the Nazi war machines initial assault on the U.S. front line created havoc. Artillery barrages and tank assaults overwhelmed many of our troops who had been cut off from their lines of supply. Hitler seemed as though he was on the cusp of turning the tide on the western front- But then... our soldiers rallied. And it was through the bravery and determination of U.S. troops that the Nazi menace was turned back and defeated. Tonight at 5 ET, TheBlazeTV will air a special presentation on the Battle of the Bulge.
