733 (Income Tax) What to fill in the acknowledgement for return capacity Video Link - https://youtube/watch?v=ps-YvTmSyBY Kunwar had posted on my page I have one query.In the Form ITR-V (acknowledgment) there is a declaration at the bottom saying: I XXXXXXXX son/ daughter of XXXXXXXXX, holding Permanent Account Number XXXXXXXXXsolemnly declare to the best of my knowledge and belief, the information given in the return and the schedules thereto which have been transmittedelectronically by me vide acknowledgement number mentioned above is correct and complete and that the amount of total income and otherparticulars shown therein are truly stated and are in accordance with the provisions of the Income-tax Act, 1961, in respect of income chargeable toincome-tax for the previous year relevant to the assessment year 2014-15. I further declare that I am making this return in my capacity as ?????????????????and I am also competent to make this return and verify it. Please let me know what will come at the place of ???????????? in the above declaration. Regards--- Kanwar Aulakh Posted By - Amlan Dutta You should write the capacity in which you sign In case of Individual it can be the assesse himself or Authorized signatory The individual has to mention the designation For example , a housewife will write housewife ...Mr Ram Working as a consultant will write consultant , i , Amlan working as Senior Engineer will write Senior engineer In case of HUF it can be Karta or Authorized signatory ...again here the Karta will mention hsi designation In case of Partnership it can be Partner or Authorized signatory ....again here the partner will mention his designation In case of Company it can be director or Authorized signatory . again here the directpor will mention his designation If you are filing your return yourself (In the capacity of individual) , it will be I further declare that I am making this return in my capacity as (Your designation ) and I am also competent to make this return and verify it.
