#774 I got home with my kids, Luyolo wasnt around. Senzo helped me bring in them in and put LubanziLwethu to bed. Junior, Lwethu and Cassie sat in the lounge, I switched on the T.v for them to watch while I took a quick shower and changed. SisGloria had left earlier in the afternoon, understandably because there wasnt much to do around the house since the kids werent around. It was going for 6pm when I started on supper, it was kinda late. Luyolo walked in and opened the fridge, wakhupha iMonster. Him:babe. Me:hey love. Him:0ur kids are back? Me:yep. I had to stand my ground kutata wethu. I tried my best not to sound disrespectful, I couldnt let them stay there for long. Him:akakubethanga uMr Lawyer? Me:eshee! Inton ibethisa? Him:soze uyqonde kalok, the nigga has the quickest reaction to bullshit. I felt his breathe on my neck as he kissed me. Him:enkosi ngondilethela abantwana. Me:no problem sthandwa sam. He went to the lounge, ndabeva bencokola, behleka. I finished up preparing supper then I dished out, satya. LubanziLwethu had woken up from their nap. When we were finished eating, I washed the dishes while Luyolo tucked the kids to sleep. Lubanzi wala uklala straight so I locked up the house and went to the room. Lubanzi and Luyolo were on the floor, going through a bible verse. Luyolo:so Banzi, people always laughed at Noah, saying hes an old man who doesnt know anything but they said all this because... Me:they didnt know anything. Luyolo:ewe my baby. Lubanzi glanced at me then lay his head on my lap. Luyolo carried on, I was getting sleepy aswell. When my baby boy finally fell asleep, we prayed and slept, making Lubanzi sleep between us... The rest of the month went on just fine, it was the begining of December, the week of my dads wedding with sisVee. Daddy was still not really okay, he still needed crutches to help him keep him balanced. I had a lot to do, work, my family, my kids and going for fittings for the weding, it was stressful but I divided my attention carefully. Anyway, that Monday, I was busy in my office when Luyolo just barged in. Him:Sweetcakes zam! Me:hey. Sungxola Yolo. Him:mpaa! Awandi biza kamandi njena madam. Me:what can I do for you? Heeeh uyaphi baby? He was dressed in a navy suit and maroon shirt, navy bow tie and maroon saude shoes. Carrying a briefcase. Him:uhm, ndinguLuyolo Marcus Nondywana. I rolled my eyes. Me:andikho moodin yodlala ke. Him:no, Im serious too babe. He sat down opposite me, wabeka ibriefcase yakhe phezkwe desk. Him:my hotel needs a revamp. Me:so? He took ou a file and handed it to me. Me:so you want this amount of money to go to your hotel? From the company? Him:thats correct maam. Me:so much Luyolo? A few thousands would be okay for now until you know where the business is going. Expand on something youve worked for. Him:Ive worked for this just that on a different project. Please sign, ndizaya epost office. Me:why does it need my signature? Him:witness to agreement and an approval stamp...as my bank witness. I read through it quickly then signed and stamped the page. Me:anything else sir? Him:that will be all for now maam, thank you. I smiled and gave him the file, wayfaka kwi briefcase. Me: please do enjoy the rest of your day. Him:certainly will maam, thank you. He got up, took his things and dashed out. I stared for a while, the smell of his cologne still filled the air, ndaske ndancuma. I was interupted by a call on my phone, it was Mercy. Me:hey, mtase. She cried. Me:Mercy? Whats wrong? Her:utata. Me:what did he do? I was getting concerned. Her:undibethile. Me:heeeh! Nyani? Why? When? Her:Im driving. She sniffed. Her:ndiyeza. Me:be safe please. I hung up after that and got up, ndaya downstairs, ndamlinda eparking lot. Her car pulled up after a while, I went to her. Me:Mercy. She wiped her tears, stepping out the car. Me:kutheni?
