7PM UPDATE: NO CHANGES TO BLIZZARD WARNINGS... *** NEW SNOW EVENT FOR THURSDAY.... *** *** NEW SNOW EVENT POSSIBLY SUNDAY / MONDAY *** The Low pressure system that will be brining eastern Jersey with Blizzard Conditions will be passing us through the night ending up near Cape Cod between 7AM-12PM on Tuesday.... snow will develop in our area from South to North between 8PM - 10PM and will intensify rapidly. There is no change in the short term forecast or snowfall predictions... by all accounts, this appears to be looking like a record-breaking storm. Hurricane force winds will affect Long Island most likely later tonight into tomorrow AM. Coastal areas of NJ will experience Gale force winds (50mph+) and COASTAL FLOODING is a major concern. PLEASE REMAIN ALERT FOR ANY OFFICIAL NOTIFICATIONS FROM YOUR LOCAL POLICE OR OEM! On the heels of this event... we have two additional possible snow events; one on Thursday evening the other possibly on Sunday/Monday... will look at all of that later... not an issue at the moment.
