7s 2013 What a celebratory 50 years 7s we had on Monday. St Thomas continued their terrific last 12 months by winning the 7s and Joe Gillane final. The 7s tournament saw some fantastic games with the final being one of the best for many years between last years winners Gort and as mentioned All Ireland Champions St Thomas. 3-11 to 1-14 was the final score in a final that was contested with the competitiveness of a championship game and with near €7,000 on offer for winning club (Mccarthy Cup, €3,000 sports fund, Weekend Away for players and Mgmt, 7s Medals ) both teams gave it there all to win the main prize. On behalf of the club we would just like to extend the following thanks; To the clubs and players of Beagh Gort St Thomas Crusheen Loughrea P Pearses Ballindereen Ardrahan Clarinbridge we thank you for partaking in this years tournament.Also to the Joe Gillane teams who played over the past month.
