7th OCTOBER 2014 : SECRET # 43.......HE PRAYED! Prayer is personal. But isnt success personal also? Success means different things to different people. Some define success as the realization of predetermined goals. Others measure success by the amount of their income, the size of their net worth or position in the institutional hierarchy. And still others by the positive difference they make in the world. Whatever benchmark you use, prayer can help you reach it. Prayer was an important part of Jesus life. He prayed often, in solitude. Jesus taught not only in what manner you should pray, as in the Lords Prayer, but also how to pray. There are different forms of prayer. One type is a prayer of thanksgiving : thanking God for the blessings in your life. Another form of prayer is worship : devotion to God and praising Him. And probably the most common form of prayer is supplication : a direct plea for divine intervention. Prayer is a form of communication with the Almighty, Infinite, and Omnipotent. Prayer is the means by which you make the deepest yearnings of your heart known to God. Repetitive prayer imprints your subconscious mind with your hearts desire. The words you use are as important as your belief in the words. Internal conflicts between your subconscious beliefs and your verbal expressions will cause your prayers to be ineffective. If you dont believe in what you are praying for, you broadcast conflicting signals and opposing intentions. Prayer combined with belief equals miracles. Prayer is also a creative act. In the beginning God said, Let there be light.. And there was light. God continues to create the world and its inhabitants by using the phrase Let There Be.... Thus God created the world by sound. Since you are made in the image and likeness of God, the sound of your voice contains the creative impulse also. This is the power of prayer. Used wisely, consistently and with belief, prayers is a success secret that can help you live your dreams.
