8/2/14 Gifts & Requests... Exposing the myths by Sara Robertson Sending a gift and getting that gift back: When you send out any gift, you do NOT get that same item in return, you get back thank you coins.... Same goes for energy and all other gifts... ALL gifts in the game get a return of thank you coins when the receiver clicks Accept and Send... The only place this is possible (to get back what you sent) is on the give one, get one links... Ive seen so many saying that they are sending out so many and not getting many of that item back, well thats because their neighbors arent sending out that gift or sending at all..... Also, some may think that once a regular gift is sent out, a mystery gift cannot be sent and vice versa... not so in this case, you can send a mystery gift out AND one gift from the gift tab... (*This applied to the Mystery gift feature and will apply to future similar features) Accept & Send vs. Accept Only: ALL gifts in the inbox can be accepted and sent with no affect on the in-game gift list (or *Mystery gifts) This sends coins to your neighbor as a thank you... Clicking on Accept Only just means your neighbor does not get a thank you gift. Accepting Visitors: THIS is the ONLY one that affects gifting... Leave your visitors there until you have sent out ALL GIFTS YOU ARE GOING TO SEND FOR THE DAY... otherwise, if you accept visitors first, it WILL remove them from the gifting list.
