8/24: Saturday Night under the lights at the High Flyin Half Mile for the Jerry Kluver Memorial for the Super Stocks along with the UMSS Sprint Cars... First up would be the MidWest Modifieds and it would see young Haley Lee the first 7 laps before Dusty Bitzan would take over. Bitzan would not look back picking up the win over Jamie Thorstad and Jason Hoffman the top 3... Next up the Street Stocks and they would be back to putting on a great show as usual as in the end it would see 8th place starter Adam Burrows make a 3-wide splitting the gap move to take the lead and check out picking up his 11th win on the season followed by Duran Peterson and Shane Krueger a pair of rookies rounding out the top 3... The Super Stocks would be the next WISSOTA class up it would see the first 17 of 20 laps go green with Jon Stepan leading the way but when the one and only yellow came out it would be for Jeff Crouse who was in 2nd at the time and had run down Stepan and looped it in turn 2 trying to make a move for the race lead. Off the restart it would see Stepan pull away and pick up the $1,000 paycheck and Jerry Kluver Memorial feature win followed by Trevor Saurer and Cory Tammen the top 3... Last up would be the Modifieds and it was all Josh Thoennes who withstood efforts from Cody Skytland to pick up the win with Brett Houim, Jason Thoennes rounding out the top 4 in that one... The UMSS Sprint Car feature would go to Lee Grosz as he would get his 2nd career UMSS feature win... Also got a whole pile of shout outs to give out here we go: Shane Sabraski on picking up all 3 track titles at the North Central Speedway, Casey Arneson on sweeping the MidWest Modifieds and sweeping the Modifieds on his way to picking up his first career Modified feature win also, Mike Stearns on #19 at the Madison Speedway, Bud Martini in the MidWest Modifieds and Dave Cain in the Modifieds win the Ron Jones/Ron Fleischer Memorial races at the Ogilvie Raceway, Don Shaw wins the Blaine Brothers WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series finale at the Ogilvie Raceway as well, and lastly CONGRATS to Zach Johnson on being your 2013 Blaine Brothers WISSOTA Challenge Series Champion.... I think that covers everything might have missed some that i will get under a comment if i find any.. Now find winners and then see what tomorrow brings not sure yet hopefully GCS for Championship night....
