8/4 EXTENSION CORDS I dont like to mess with extension cords. Never have and assume I never will. I refuse to fall asleep with Christmas lights on because of all the cords strung around. Today Brent came in and said the extension cord attached to the weed eater was smoking! My POINT exactly! Hed considered throwing the cord away but of course being a man and how men think - thought he should try to fix it. He returned a short while later saying it was smoking because it had not been plugged in good. He commented thats what happens when... we do not remain connected securely to our source. We still have some power but it is in a weakened state. Before long, if allowed to continue we will burn out. What else can cause... burnout? Lots of things can. Not having balance can cause burnout. Overload can cause burnout. I personally dont have a lot of use for smoke except for slow cooking meat. Otherwise I dont need smoke. I dont like to inhale it. I dont like to smell it OR smell LIKE it. And Ive never even had a need to send up smoke signals. It slowed the whole weed eating process down. What is causing you to feel... overwhelmed? Are you burned out with your job? Your church? Your relationships? Your life in general? Stay FULLY connected to your power source. Allow that power to flow through you today. And when the smoke is gone you will see clearly what to do. Ive found that I make better decisions if I wait until the smoke has dissipated.
