8:45 AM | Good Sunday morning! There are peeks of sunshine across the region at this time, and that should continue for the remainder of the day. Temperatures will not be quite as chilly as what we saw on Saturday, as highs will top out in the low to mid 60s. There will be a slight chance for a shower or two late in the day into the overnight hours. For Columbus Day, mostly cloudy skies can be expected with a slight chance for more showers. High temperatures will be around 69-73°. A strong storm system will be tracking through the Ohio Valley on Tuesday. Ahead of this storm, southeast winds will usher in a warmer and noticeably more humid airmass in our area. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 70s on Tuesday. There could be a few showers around, but there will be a better chance for showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday. We will have to watch for the potential of strong winds with this activity.
