8-5-14 later Ok! Bella had a really big day, an Father was with her and I the whole time! Praise God! They have put in a different feeding tube that passes through her stomach and is in her intestine- they finally got it in after 4 tries! (This should help with her horrible reflux problem) they have done a lot of re-evaluations and were able to do a scope of her throat to try to see what, if anything, is causing her not to be able to swallow appropriately. The specialist saw that she is aspirating and cannot seem to manage even her own saliva. He also saw a lot of secretions that shouldnt normally be there (because normally, you would swallow them naturally). There wasnt anything as of yet indicating that anything is anatomically wrong. They are going over their results with the NICU team and will form a plan of action for Bella and we should know more in a few days. She is back on low flow oxygen for a few days(mostly because of all that she endured today) Thanks to everyone for all of their help and support during all of this and PLEASE keep the prayers coming! THEY ARE WORKING!!
