8/7/13 WEEKLY FAN BLOG TK BLU and the UNCOOL “The great director gets the right people to execute his vision as compared to the director doing it all himself” -- Quentin Tarantino I know my fan blog is three days late. There are lots of good reasons why. It was a busy week. Last week I had the interview on 1470 AM radio. What is really quite the thought; this has been my second interview on the radio in the last five months. I was also preparing music for our full 10 pieces for this Mondays rehearsal. We are working on some cool covers such as Beyonce’s LOVE ON TOP and Amy Stewarts version of KNOCK ON WOOD. To add, last night we performed a 13 minute track show for the national crime prevention rally held Margate. One of the songs we performed that was connected to the theme of the night was my original song FREEDOM. The night was a lot of fun. BIG NIGHT COMING UP -- next Thursday at Tavolino’s Italian restaurant and supper club. One of our fans wrote to me this week letting me know she went there last week. She totally loved the food and the ambience. Bring the attachment flyer and for $20 you will get a drink and appetizer. Ladies you will get 2 drinks. Thursday is ladies night, AUGUST 15 -- TAVOLINO -- 10181 Sample Road – Coral Springs. We go on a 7 PM to 8 PM and 8:30 TO 9:30 PM. My spot light former student this week is Leah Schroeder. In middle school about 1992, she starred in a play I directed for the school called JUVIE . It was quite the drama. She found her passion for acting with that very real performance. Recently she had a small part in the movie PAIN AND GAIN. She is pursuing more roles. I am so proud of my students like Leah.
