8-7-13 [dream one] I arrive at my old job at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and visit the gravesite nearby where Hoover and his wife are buried. INTERPRETATION: Presidents Herbert Hoover and Bill Clinton were both born in the sign of Leo, Year of the Dog. Hoover was a Wood Dog and Clinton is a Fire Dog [George W. Bush was born the same year as Bill Clinton [dog] and got a stent operation today. [dream two] I arrive at work at my old job at Northrop and turn on the lights. Manuel [Justin] Abril arrives right after I do and asks about two pieces of paper he left on his desk. I tell him that I vaguely remember the secretary mailing them. I look down at my clothes; I notice that I’m wearing a light blue Danskin/ one-piece bathing suit [Halloween costume] and, horrified, I change to a khaki nurse [or maid] uniform before the Northrop guards see me and throw me out. As I creep by, I see a guy in a black uniform in the boss’s office through the open door. The zipper breaks like the dress is too small. I walk around [in the maid uniform] looking for something to do. I see someone I know--Janet that worked for TSAM [Transportation Systems Analysis Model] in government property. She says, “Hi, how are you? You haven‘t attended any QA [quality assurance] meetings for a long time.” I reply that I‘ve been assigned to a do a new report for “Langley.” The report is in two manila envelopes: a thick one and a thin one [like my household appliance/ electronics manuals in real life]. She keeps typing but I pull out the report anyway. It has some timeline charts with horizontal bars [for the months estimated to do various steps of the plan] and some world maps with big black clouds over large areas including Europe, Russia and Africa. The name of the report is on the last page: “Sep.” Janet asks, “What does that stand for?” I‘m having trouble thinking. My memory feels like someone that’s been in solitary confinement [SHU]. Two of the pages in the report are newspaper clippings and I look at the reverse sides. One has a photo of another person I know--Diane French. I tell Janet that the boss must be from my old home town. She asks why. I show her the photo--the whole row of people in the photo are from my old home town but I only have time to focus on one face. I read under the photo, that they were there for a Ronald Reagan rally [at Veterans Auditorium]. The reverse of the other clipping has a photo of what looks like the Dalai Lama in a crowd on the ramp from a plane. My gruff guy walks up and asks about the report. He’s Greg Hulse [lawyer] from my old home town. I tell him that I saw one of his classmate’s photo earlier. I follow him and another guy to a door and wait. A guy with straw like hair stands in the door and tells the two guys things about themselves. I don’t focus and can’t understand him. Greg asks, “What about her?” I focus but still can’t understand him at first. Then he says that I “tell stories that no one wants to hear; do you understand?” Then he tells Greg, “She’s an ordinary beautiful girl.” A GS-13 engineer walks up and says that he needs to know, that he’s trying to “plan his life.” Greg says, “Look at this.” He shows me a movie of the still photo from earlier. I only have time to focus on one face in the crowd. It looks like one of the McQueen brothers in around the fourth grade. INTERPRETATION: “SAP” is a police incident code in New Zealand meaning Safe Arrival Point. I checked my 1957 [Year of the Rooster] high school annual; Diane French, Duff McQueen and Greg Hulse all were in fourth grade. Pat McQueen was in sixth grade. Greg Hulse was standing between Duff McQueen and Jerry Ochesky. Then I checked my 1964 [Year of the Dragon] high school annual; Duff McQueen was in the second row next to Diane French. Before the dream, I watched a TV show, Who Do You Think You Are, in which Chelsea Handler saw a still photo of her father and then a movie of the coast of France where her [German] father was captured by American soldiers in World War II. After the dream, I watched a PBS show about swamps in Belarus/ Russia that stopped the Mongols, French/ Napoleon and the Germans. The swamps have been restored by beavers around the nuclear meltdown site. President Putin of Russia was born in Libra, Year of the Water Dragon. President Jimmy Carter was also born in Libra, Year of the Rat [as was George HW Bush born the same year.]
