8 An RCF-led Indian consortium is at an advanced stage of taking the final decision on a proposed long-term agreement for import of 1.8 million tonnes per annum (mta) of potash from Canada’s Encanto Potash. 8According to PSC report, Indian consortium had appointed Price Waterhouse Coopers appointed as financial advisors for negotiating a potash off-take agreement with Encanto. Later, RCF, on behalf the consortium, had discussed with Encanto a draft of principle terms and purchase and sales agreement. RCF has proposed that a delegation from Encanto should be invited to the country to finalize discussion on the potash offtake agreement.
