8 hurt in road mishaps Srinagar: Eight persons were injured in different road accident across the valley. Police said a motorcycle (JK02U/3516) on way from Zainapora to Budroo skidded off the road at Wapzan near bridge Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion. Both the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.Meanwhile, an unknown vehicle hit three non-local minor girls, seven years Gareba, four years Sureelie and two years Chulbul daughters of Chatu residents of Maharashtra near work shop, Peak Auto Limited on NHW near Uranhal, in the jurisdiction of Police station Bijbehara. All the injured girls were shifted to Hospital for treatment. Bijbehara Police has registered a case in this regard.In another accident, a Maruti 800 collided with a Fiat Puntoo car (JK01M/9342) near Boatman colony, Bemina, in the jurisdiction of Police station Parimpora, resulting in injuries to three persons who were traveling in the car. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Parimpora Police has registered a case in this regard.
