8 years ago I went on a camping trip with some friends from church. One of them was a beautiful African girl with bright eyes, a big smile, and a bubbly personality. I had feelings for her, but I didn’t know if those feelings were mutual. So one night I went for a walk to collect my thoughts and have a pray. Looking at the night sky I thought to myself “if I was to see a shooting star right now that would be a sign from God that this girl is the right one for me”. Immediately, the biggest shooting star I have ever seen flashed across the sky with a huge yellow trail blazing behind it! Little did I know that at the same time, the girl of my prayers had also gone off by herself to pray. And the subject of her prayers was me. And looking at the clear sky she too had thought to herself “if I was to see a shooting star right now that would be a sign from God that this guy is the right one for me”. And immediately she had seen the same shooting star that I did! We’ve been married for three years today. I call it a match made in heaven. Happy anniversary Natasha, you’re my shooting star! Love you.
