85 years ago on August 23 ,1929 was the mark of the Arab riots murdering 133 Jews in Jerusalem, Hebron, Safed, Tel aviv, and other Jewish towns. In Hebron alone 67 Jews were murdered, and all Jews were evacuated from the city. Many Jewish homes and synagogues were burned and looted. Similar attacks were done as early as 1834 and 1517, where large scale looting, killing and raping of Jews, as well as the destruction of their homes and synagogues was done by local Muslim Arabs.
