8am and my phone rings... who the hell could it be? Of course its ANOTHER college. I havent looked at colleges since before leaving nursing last year. How in the world do they keep getting my number and my address?... so far Im heading to Wesleyan University but not any time soon. every college Ive talked to is willing to hold a spot for me for a yr, so of course Im going to take it. This gives me a chance to figure things out in my life and learn which college I truly want to go to. BUT if one more college calls me at 8am especially on a day off or on a Friday I just might scream. I understand being an outstanding student and having amazing grades is what colleges look for and what students should strive for but damn Im starting to wish I wouldve slacked off just a little bit at some point throughout school.
