8th Grade Burnet MS Bulldogs v. Liberty Hill Panthers Burnet Green Game lost 0-32 The Dogs offense could not find the end zone offensively against a tough panther defense. We could move the ball for 15 to 20 yards but then stall. Defensively the dogs could not stop the outside running game of the panthers. Offensive standouts – Donovan Seiley … 6 receptions on the night Gavin Murphy…1 reception on the night Kyler Keele… 7 completed passes with no interceptions Carlos Chavez…had several good runs for 26 yards Defensive standouts –Connor Blake, Ronin Rhodes, and Nathan Haggerton played well from their defensive positions with a lot of hustle. Burnet White Game Lost 8-31 The Dogs offense played a tough panther defense and moved the ball well to be down only 8-16 at half. This was after fumbling the first two kickoff returns allowing the 16 points. In the second half the dogs had no answer for the tough running panther offense. Offensive Stand outs –Ian Carter…did a good job running the ball on the night and had 2 catches Tyler Torres… had a couple of nice catches, one of which was a touchdown Reid Dalrymple… completed 4 passes on the night with 1 for a touchdown and had a good run for a PAT Defensive Standouts – Caden Floyd, Tyler Untermeyer, and Dillon Hinds … had several good plays from their defensive position. The defense group had a big goal line stand right before half holding the Panthers all 4 downs inside the 10. The 8th grade Dogs will be taking on the Llano Yellowjackets for their next game
