9-10 October 2014: European Education, Training and Youth Forum, Brussels, Belgium The Forum, organised by the European Commission, will take place at a crucial moment: the Europe 2020 strategy for growth and jobs is being reviewed and the strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training (ET 2020) is undergoing a mid-term stocktaking. The purpose of the ET 2020 stocktaking is to optimise the overall functioning of the strategic framework and make it a sharper and more focused contributor to the Europe 2020 strategy. The discussions at the Forum will be forward looking and aim at identifying key priority areas and concrete issues for future work.
