9/11 is a day weve honored since such that horrific experience. In memories, I have my moment of silence and salute all that had to experience such trauma. 9/11/14 for me, turned out to be a GREAT day. I read my horoscope after waking, which basically said, turn the negative into positive. For me, it spoke true OPTIMISM. I went with my traditional daily flow. Working with a great new trainee and watching her transition into a competent PARAMEDIC, its been a great ride. But being invited to the unknown and getting such a honor yesterday was definitely unexpected. My motto has been for years while working in EMS to,expect the unexpected. This, I never expected and I was truly honored getting the award and then the compliments from everyonel. I personally wanted to say Thanks to all of you. One of the highest honors Ive ever received and one of the BEST days that Ive ever had. Thanks again. 9/11, will always be with us... Once again, I truly appreciated the compliments. I thank you again...
