9/13/13 Matthew Chapter 7:1-2 Stop judging, that you may not be judged, for as you judge, so will you be judged, and the measure with which you measure will be measured out to you. Go to God and rest. Give your mind a break from the habitual judging. We form judgments about this situation, that situation, this person that person, ourselves, even the weather-as if judging were our main function in life. But God created us first and foremost to know God and live in rich communication with Him. When we become preoccupied with passing judgment, we usurp His role. Relate to God as creature to Creator, sheep to Sheppard, subject to King, clay to Potter, Allow God to have His way in our lives. Rather than evaluating His ways with you, accept them thankfully. The intimacy God offers us is not an invitation to act as if you were His equal. Worship God as King of Kings while walking hand in hand with Him down the path of life. Once again it is totally our choice.
