9/16 update on Justin :Well, I just heard some great news from Vicki, that last night Justin was able to sit up on the side of the bed for 4 minutes and move his arms and legs in his own!!!!! He did great at it! He has been more awake and alert. The Dr that was planning on doing the Trach today said that he was very surprised and impressed with his breathing and was going to hold off today on doing the Trach and let Justin go through the breathing trials again today and see how he does!! They already started cutting some of his levels back on the ventilator and he is handling it great! His chest X-ray still shows that his left lung is still partially collapsed, but much better than yesterday. That will just take time. I will update later how the breathing trial went. Thank yall SO much for the prayers. This is definitely God working, and we thank Him! Jill Bumgardner
