9/17/13: We had another reasonable night of observing on the night of 9/15. The observatory did not receive any funding from the college equipment fund this year, but we are putting in another equipment proposal to obtain all of the remaining items we need to resume solar observing next year. We should know about that by the end of the semester. Also, we have some other needs emerging, which include a guide telescope for Internet Observatory #2 and more broadband filters for our FLI CCD camera. This camera will go on Internet Observatory #1 and will replace our SBIG STL-6303 that is going on 10 years old. Hence, our funding needs continue and we continue to search for adequate funding to conduct our mission.
