9/20: Back at it at yet another different track for the 2013 season Friday Night brought us to the Princeton Speedway for Night 1 of the Ptown Showdown. First off have to give credit to the track crew they had to take a few breaks in the action to work the top of the track as it got really rough. Their work paid off with 2 lanes of racing and one dynamite Mod feature event to end the night.. With that being said first up the Street Stocks that would see Jim Gullikson hold off Allen Gessel to take his 6th of the season followed by Adam Soltis, Ryan Pommerer, Dave Read, and Ryan Kostreba... Next up the Mod 4s and it would be dominated by Kyle Thell as he cruised to his 29th feature win of the season followed by WISSOTA 100 Champ Josh Abrahamson, Brandon Lindquist, and Bryce Bjrken... The Midwest Modifieds would be next it seen Tim Johnson take the victory over Shane Sabraski and Bud Martini who threw everything they had at Johnson and with Multiple restarts they had their chances but came up just short. It would be Johnson, Sabraski, Martini, and the man that also put on a show finishing 4th would be Andy Jones from a bmain to make the top 4.... The Super Stocks would see a very quick battle for the race lead as Dave Mass had it before Shane Sabraski would put on a slide job to take the lead and never look back. That would end up being Shane Sabraski, Dave Mass, Tim Johnson, Dan Gullikson, and Seth Kramer... Last up the 20 car 20 lap Modified feature and it was a good. With a few yellow flags thrown in there in the end it would see Seth Brede the former Late Model driver pick up his first career WISSOTA Modified feature win in what would be a good one with Scot Danzesein right on his bumper battling him side by side for the last 3/4 laps and a hard charging Dave Mass was also running them down at the end of the 20 lap as well. It would be Brede, Danzeisen, Mass, Jeff Patchen, and Shane Sabraski who came out of the bmain to round out the top 5.... Now get ready for Night 2 of the 1st annual Ptown Showdown.....
