9/8/2013 Good Beautiful Sunday Morning!!! The sun is shining, the birds are taking their morning bath in the bird bath and the bunnies are just hopping around and it makes everything in the world look and seem right. Well, it is!! Why, you may ask – because we are wonderful, beautiful people and our world is supposed to. That is my early morning mantra. I know that sometimes we don’t feel like looking the day in the eye (so to speak) but, we should really push to get that wonderful feeling in our minds and heart. Since today is Sunday and the first day of the new week, why don’t we try to get that feeling and keep it? We all need help sometimes in getting that feeling and we should start with us. Again, look in the mirror and smile at yourself, tell yourself that you are the most wonderful being on the planet and you know this because God made you and He doesn’t make mistakes. Then tell everyone you love the same thing – share your feelings. Give hugs because they are one of the free things we can give to make someone feel better. “May the acts of kindness I perform day by day nurture faith, hope and courage in my friends along the way. May my humble self-denial grant another’s need. May my acts of forgiveness cause resentment to be freed. May my thoughtfulness soften one whose heart is hard, May I scatter seeds of mercy all along life’s boulevard.” (Janice Jones) Remember that whatever we do and whomever we touch, we make a change not only in us but in those around us. So my bright wonderful folks, go about your day smiling at yourself and others, loving yourself and others and spread happiness.
