9 things you may not know about me... 1. I have saved another mans life, who would not have lived without my efforts. I have been saved by another, and I would not have survived without their efforts. 2. Ive had recurring dreams my entire life of being attacked by lions and tigers. Hasnt happened yet, thankfully! 3. I know when people are pregnant, even before they know. Ive freaked out quite a few women by telling them so (including my wife). 4. I went on my first of many 100+ mile bicycle rides when I was 17 years old, way before extreme sports became mainstream. 5. While in the Navys nuclear power program, I was accused of cheating after getting a perfect score on the first Physics test. The instructors custom wrote a new test and had me take it in their office. I aced that one too. 6. As a kid I worried about carrying on our family name. I didnt think anyone would ever marry me. I didnt stop worrying about that until I was in my early 20s!! 7. Life magazine did a story about my family. We were in the issue that had the Muppets on the cover (when the original Muppet Movie came out). The reporter had an orange Volvo, which was pretty exotic for a small Indiana town. 8. When I was young (3 or 4 years old) a sphere of white light passed through the wall of my house and came into the room where my sister and I were playing. She screamed and our Mom came into the room. At that point, the light shot through the wall, turned right, and sped away out of sight. Ive never figured out what that was, but I remember every detail like it happened yesterday. That will be one of my first questions for God when I get to Heaven! 9. I was a member of the very first Junior Achievement company in the world that taught computer programming. The Wall Street Journal did a story about us.
