9 years ago, November 14th my dear brother Paul Allen Meek closed his eyes and said goodbye! It is hard to imagine he didnt have a Facebook page (we didnt know about Facebook then). But he had many friends and if you ever met him he was your friend. As I think about this day of heartbreak I alway have Hope! When we are overwhelmed by grief, we can cling to The Lords faithfulness. You see, in August 2000 we were united as a family with our brother, David Booth. The oldest, born in 1947 my mother Sarah Meek had given David up for adoption to wonderful parents who lived in Chicago. My mother had never given up hope she would see him again, today she is my brother Ronnies caregiver as he is in hospice care from a terminal brain tumor that was diagnosed last December. She has been an inspiration and continues to show us the anchor of Gods faithfulness hold firm in the strongest storms.
