92.5 WBWI*TRAFFIC ALERT**TRAFFIC ALERT** >Important Message from the Wisconsin D.O.T.< US 41 southbound will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. at State Highway 33, five miles north of the State Highway 144 interchange. Northbound traffic will be closed from midnight to 6 a.m. at the US 41/US 45 split, eight miles south of the 144 interchange. The on-ramps for the 33 southbound and County K southbound will also be closed from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. On-ramps for State Highway 145 and State Highway 60 northbound will be closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The closure is part of the US 41/Wis 144 improvement project, said Wisconsin Department of Transportation spokesman Brian DeNeve. During the closure, 10 bridge girders will be installed on the road. DeNeve said Friday was chosen for the closure because of few major events in the area that night — save for a Brewers game, which is why the northbound closure starts later. The Department of Transportation recommends these detour routes: Northbound: Merge onto US 45 north to State Highway 33, continue west on State Highway 33 to US 41 north. Southbound: Exit at State Highway 33, continue east to US 45, continue south on US 45 to US 41 south.
