93 FD3S RX7 Type R Import. 97, 929 on the odo, unknown mix of miles and km Tax until 02/15 MOT 08/15 Im selling because I’m a self employed carpenter and work is slow at the moment, I need some money from somewhere to pay bills, so she has to go. :( Engine: GT35R Turbo Homebrew large street ports V mount intercooler and radiator 60mm Wastegate 3inch full stainless exhaust w/ silenced decat & screamer Uprated fuel pump Sard FPR 850cc primary injectors Bosch 1680cc secondary injectors Aftermarket fuel rail HKS F-Con Pro Gold ECU OS Giken TS2B twin plate clutch Carbon/kevlar turbo beanie Greddy inlet elbow Vibratechnics engine mounts Electronic boost controller Fully tucked and tidied engine bay Suspension/wheels: Gaz Gold Coilovers Powerflex polybushes all round Tein front and rear strut braces All suspension arms powdercoated white Coilovers refurbished white and black Manual steering rack Refurbished Mazdaspeed MS01 17x8 17x9 with 20/25mm spacers Interior Alcantara trimmed dash Alcantara trimmed centre console Custom leather gear and handbrake gaiters Custom trimmed Autoexe steering wheel Battery relocated to boot Exterior: Homemade front sidelights/indicators Fully restored underside in white Body wrapped in gloss grey metallic vinyl Feed style GRP sidesteps De-spoilered Stats: 459 fwhp 387 whp The engine is rock solid, last rebuilt less than 13,000 miles ago, I have recent compression test from RE:Worx showing 6.8, 7.1, 7.0 front and 7.8, 8.2, 7.5 rear so it has plenty of life in it yet. It can be run at full boost (1.05 bar) all day long and it will give you the full 459 hp, it doesnt need a few items upgrading or mapping or running in, it is sorted, fully sorted and ready to scare your pants off, it runs as it should, every turn of the key. The engine bay is a work of art. Just look at the pictures. Fully tucked and tidied by Will at Streetoptions. Mods include ABS delete, smaller BMC, wiper motor relocated behind bulkhead, wiring re-routed, fuses relocated to passenger footwell, manual rack, custom anodised parts, spot weld dents filled and smoothed (seriously, all of them). The underside follows the engine bay in terms of style, it is fully restored and undersealed in stonechip and painted gloss white. All suspension arms are powdercoated white. Ill admit the underside photo above is a year old so it may well be a touch dirtier under there now! The only item that does not have brand new poly bushes is the diff hanger, but I have a freshly bushed hanger that will come with the car, I just never fitted it. The front of the cabin is mostly retrimmed in grey alcantara with a copper stitch by the development trimmers from Aston Martin, this includes the dash, end panels and centre console, they match the standard alcantara seats nicely. The handbrake gaiter, gear gaiter and steering wheel are retrimmed in leather with matching copper stitch. The body is fully wrapped in dark grey metallic vinyl. The paint underneath the vinyl is shocking. I mean truly terrible. It is original mazda red and has faded into several shades of pink and orange. It has flaking bits, scratches, its a complete state. If you want to remove the vinyl, you WILL need to respray the entire car, unless you like the rat look, like, really really like the rat look. Now im not trying to hide anything with the vinyl, the price of the car takes into account the fact that it needs a respray, but I wanted it to look good in the meantime so the new owner could be proud to drive it around from day one until they decide what colour they want to paint it. I have photos of every panel before wrapping to prove I have nothing to hide. Bad Points: The bodywork as mentioned above obviously, most notably it does have a dent over the driver side rear wing. Some people have suggested it will pop out with the right persuasion. The clocks can be a little finicky at times, the rev counter sometimes fluctuates and the oil pressure gauge comes off the bottom marker but never moves. Apparently for some less useless with electrics than me this is relatively easy to fix, just loose connections generally. I will include an Omori oil pressure and water temp gauge and senders if I get the full asking price. The rear interior is a bit tatty, some small scratches and missing trim clips. There is no structural rust on the car, however there was a tiny rust mark under the fuel filler what I sanded to metal before wrapping, the passenger wing has a bubble of rust on the arch lip, the driver wing has a small split on the front arch corner and the chassis rail flanges had tiny hints surface rust that I am going to treat with some POR15 (from where the underside resto ended and the respray never began!) Thats about it, this is a really sorted car that you can get in and enjoy. It is by no means a daily driver, it has terrible road manners at low speed and the clutch is super heavy, but if you want to go for a blast when rush hour has died down, theres none better. It needs someone with real attention to detail to really finish her off, for example all the fixings in the engine bay and underside are original and it would be nice to see them replaced with shiny bits. The rear cabin needs bringing up to the standard of the front, and a really nice set of wheels could really stamp the new owners mark on the car. With all this considered I am asking a firm £9000 for the car. Matt 07872389568
