97 percent registered to vote. 85 percent actually voted. In Scotland. People took a stand to determine whether or not their country would become independent or remain a part of the United Kingdom. On the same day here in the US, Congress voted to give themselves 7+ weeks of vacation, beginning immediately, after returning from a 5 week vacation a very few short days before! Americans need to take some lessons from other countries. We need to change things here. And we need to do it with our vote in the same percentages used by Scotland. We need to find people who care more about the country than about getting re-elected. And we need to do it in November! If you are eligible to vote but are not registered - go register and then go vote. If you are registered to vote but more often than not dont - go vote. Every single one of them count. And they just very well may count for change for the better in this country.
