9700!?! In 2 days? Ive been content with posting a mix on my little djqoolmarvsounds.podomatic/ and waiting a year or two, or three for 1000+ downloads/listens. This Roots mix is going to hit 10,000 before the weekend. Im usually measured as far as what I expect from the internet, you know, how many likes and all that but 10000 new ears, from all over and everywhere are giving me an ear to ear. If you saw me, youd see a lot of teeth! Because, its not about how many people are hearing my 1st Hip Hop mix in a long while, its about those people hearing a mix featuring a group that originates out of Philadelphia, thats climbed the ladder via talent and work ethic - and most of all, a group that has a substantial point of view.
