9Q-CHA - Lockheed L-1011-250 TriStar - Hewa Bora Airways at Liege (LGG) in January 2001 c/n 1227 - built in 1982 for Delta Air Lines and operated until 2000 Hewa Bora aquored the aircraft in 2000 to start operations between Brussels and Zaire, but had to operate the first few flights to Liege before landing rights for Brussels were granted. The aircraft was damaged during a hard landing a Kinshasa (FIH) in 08/2002 and finally brocken-up in 2004.
