9am this morning - I went running....and I was shit at it!! Honestly I think i walked more than I ran! It hurt my legs, my lungs and my chest. I looked like a mess - BUT I DID IT! Ive been unable to workout to any capacity for over 12 weeks. Im back at step 1 - BUT I DID IT! Everyone needs to start (or re-start) somewhere! A first time exerciser, someone recovering from illness or injury, a new mother or simply those who lost their way and have been spending time sat on their arses! Stop procrastinating, stop wasting time on social media, stop coming up with excuses and do something! When youve not been exercising in a while - It doesnt matter what you do, it doesnt matter how you do it, it doesnt matter how long it lasts or how ridiculous you feel (and may look) doing it! What matters is that YOURE DOING IT! Go for walk, a run, a swim, a game of football, a bike ride, throw a kettlebell, go mad in the gym it doesnt matter! JUST DO IT! I promise you wont regret it!
