9p.m. West Coast Time/Mistaken Identity Comrades, an interesting situation occurred earlier today. I was walking toward the parking lot when I came across two Nigerians engaging in small talk. The subject of conversation - Boko Haram. I initially paid them no mind. However, when I overheard one of them say (with a thick Nigerian accent), Ehn! In Jesus name, God will deliver us from the Islamic terrorist creating havoc in our country - I felt compelled to intervene. Without hesitation, I lambasted them with Intellectual Radical Movement rhetoric - informing them that Nigeria hasnt seen significant progress in donkey years partly due to that kind of irresponsible religious groveling. Too many Nigerians are waiting on God to descend from the sky - foolishly hoping Hell resolve man-made problems. Following my outburst - it became apparent the two Nigerian brothers did not take kindly to my constructive criticism. They must have mistaken me for an African American because one of them spewed rude remarks in Nigerian (Yoruba) language. Translated to English he said, Just ignore this idiot man that belongs in a mental hospital. However, to their surprise I responded speaking splendid Nigerian vernacular as well - using curse words with precision. They were SHOCKED!!!!! I left them standing in the parking lot completely flabbergasted and stunned. Msheww! How presumptuous to have mistaken me for an African American aye. I am a Nigerian with a British passport. Make no mistake. IRM One.
