A 13 hour training session in Richmond, VA comes to an end for the day. Today started with presentations from Ken Demarco and Kevin Reimer from MP Global/Fiberbacker (quietwalk). Their seminar focused on their underlayment products and general substrate/membrane issues. Kevin Parker and Tish Stanley from Metroflor (metroflorcorp) discussed installation procedures with their Engage and Allure products. We also had a preview of their new Aspire line. Valuable inspector information was presented with great enthusiasm by all of the inspectors. Robert Thomas went through the entire Earthwerks (earthwerks.net) catalog along with their new products coming out in this winter. Not only was this an informative seminar with their product line, the overall presentation for LVT was probably the best presentation that covered almost all LVT products on the market. Dick Gleason from Pergo (pergo) discussed the inspector’s role with Pergo inspections and what can be expected with future inspections. Tom “Smitty” Smith from the resolutions team gave a basic door and window seminar, the first of its kind. These inspections are a new addition to the Inspect Solutions service lineup and will bring increase inspections to our inspectors. Ron Gould, Maria Coscia and Jeanne Lewis finished the evening with information of moving around the IS website (inspectsolutions) and general information. Tomorrow the inspectors are looking forward to a total Lumber Liquidators day (lumberliquidators). The day starts with the Mapei product line (mapei.us) and Elastilon (elastilon) product line that are geared towards the Lumber Liquidators products. The day finishes with a tour of the Lumber Liiqudiators/Bellawood facility. This is the first time this type of seminar/information has ever been presented.
