A 15-year-old who ran away from care in Winnipeg, was found in the Red River.. Tina Fontaine was reported #missing August 9th. Police say they found her body wrapped in plastic, in a way that she couldnt have done herself, indicating she was dead before she was in the river. This was a child and I am outraged to hear this, especially considering my stance on the whole missing and murdered women situation and the lack of direct action in the past.. I dont know when the grassroots is going to figure it out, but our missing and murdered women need a wave of support just like what was shown by idle no more and other grassroots movements when we shut down the country. The government needs to be held accountable not only for this murder but for all of the missing and murdered aboriginal women across Canada. Shame on society and all those who standing by and doing nothing while First Nations children are dying. INQUIRY NOW!!
