A 20 Trillion dollar debt is one of the greatest thefts in human history. We are spending our grandchildrens money without their permission. We have the power to vote for politicians who can spend our money. The government is spending all the money they are politically willing to take from their electorate, but then is spending TRILLIONS more. Who will be required to pay that? Answer: future generations yet to be born. That is the ULTIMATE in Taxation without representation! Governments have been overthrown for this. But, its hard to overthrow a government by people who are yet to be born. WE are the guilty ones for allowing this government to spend our grandchildens money in our name. If the Fed Gov was held to a balanced budget, spending would have to come down for WE would be unwilling to bear the burden of the tax levels required to balance this budget. This is the same as if you took out a credit card in your new-born childs name, using the freshly issued SSN assigned to that child by your government, then used that card to buy all you wanted, only paying the minimum required amount each month. Then when your child reaches 18 you give them the credit card and say - SUCKER!!!
