A 2016 Election Day of Action? This group seems to be growing quickly which is great. At some point it would be wonderful to turn the online energy to in person action. What would people think of using election day 2016 as a good opportunity to hit the streets for a symbolic, peaceful and respectful decentralized day of action? Especially if the election becomes another Bush v Clinton, we could use this moment to really highlight the absurd nature of our current political system. Peaceful and respectful could also include a wide range of actions, from flag waving, gathering, marches, rallies or symbolic sit ins and lock downs in government offices. Range of different actions, so everyone could participate based on comfort level, people willing to accept consequences of their actions, and everything geared towards building a very positive public relationship. Thoughts? Ideas?
