A 37 year olds reflection.... Thank you friends and family near and far for sharing your birthday wishes for me on this day! I feel the love! I aint gonna lie, Its been one rough week, and month. I Feel like a lot has fallen apart and like Ive been a drain on Friends and family as Ive seeked helped at times over and over recently. I am stronger though and have learned somethings! I am blessed by you who have reached out with help, and who have simply said yes and I am on my way. Its so easy these days and times to stay involved in our own world and schedules. Its rare to find friends who sacrifice their time for each other esp at a moments notice ...I am blessed with some friends who have been there and at a moments notice...to help light a pilot light, to fix washing machine parts, to fix a water heater part, to just listen to me vent and maybe for the hundredth time, to lend a car for awhile, to fix parts on my car so it works, to console and to encourage at a bad days end, and to just be there. To you I say...as I reflect on past days that I hope I am as good a friend to you as you are to me. I hope I bless someone as you have blessed me. For all of us, Sometimes, people just need to know they arent forgotten and have someone to count on...good days and bad. So Reach out to someone! I am grateful beyond words for those of you Ive been able to count on! Youve brightened my day and sacrificed your own time and schedules for me, youve taught me things...I am forever grateful! Im 37 now and man I still have lots to learn. Today, Its been a good day... A visit with my granny after work and I came home to a surprise card and gift from my parents. And a special big thanks to Brent Joey Ritchie and Tony for stopping by tonight with a surprise dinner and a birthday cake...just for me...to celebrate my birthday with me. I appreciate your thoughtfulness, your friendship and time you gave so much!
