A 4.9-magnitude earthquake near Barbuda caused light shaking in Antigua, St Kitts and Guadeloupe Monday morning. The quake, which occurred at around 5:14 AM local time, struck about 25 kilometres east-northeast of Codrington, Barbuda, at a depth of 26 kilometres. That is about 73 kilometres north-northeast of St John’s, Antigua ,and about 156 kilometres north of Guadeloupe. No damage or injuries were reported.
