A 44-year-old man from Newark Delaware, has brought a medical malpractice lawsuit for an alleged botched penile implant surgery which resulted in an erection that lasted nearly eight months. This past week jurors heard testimony from urologist and claimant Michael Heyden, at the New Castle County Superior Court in Wilmington Delaware. Heyden alleges that he had to have an emergency corrective surgery in August 2010 when his first prosthesis punctured his scrotum during a family trip. Heyden is claiming that he has lost significant sensation, size, and that he and his wife have suffered grave emotional distress after the incident made him retreat from much of life.
