Nicaraguans were calling Radio Ya Thursday to report feeling a strong quake and say they have lost electricity. Federal government spokeswoman and first lady Rosario Murillo told Radio Ya that there were no immediate reports of injuries or damages. But she added that authorities were still trying to contact public safety officials.
