A. (American) C. (Christian) F. (Fiction) W. (Writers) I love ACFW, one of the finest organizations on the planet for Christian writers. Day after tomorrow Ill meet up with 700 of my closest friends (okay, I dont really know a third of them) in St. Louis, for the annual/national ACFW conference, where our amazing keynote speaker will be my buddy, Lauraine Snelling. Im co-teaching a Continuing Education course titled Creative Marketing Strategies: Innovative Marketing Tips for Authors FROM Authors. The amazing Kathleen YBarbo Turner and Anita Higman will be my cohorts in crime. Were perched and ready! Ive been working on the Power Point presentation for weeks (literally) because I want it to be perfect. Cant wait to see how it goes. In the meantime, I pack. And bake. Yes, my friends, its true. This crazy old Nina is going to try to take a roll-on bag loaded with specially decorated cookies to promote two of my books. Oh, my! Please pray that I get through security and that the cookies remain intact on the plane. For now, I bake. And edit a book that needs to be turned back in before I leave town. And pack. And work on my speech. Other than that, I have absolutely nothing to do.
