A BADLY ENGINEERED ECONOMY: Please Share. Thank You. On Monday March 23, 2014, a BP oil refinery (British Petroleum) in Indiana spilled a large amount of oil into Lake Michigan, the source of water for 7 Million people just in the Chicago metro area alone. The spill comes on the heels of a 170,000 gallon oil spill on March 21st, 2014 off the coast of Texas by BP (British Petroleum). Ironically the Lake Michigan spill happened 25 years to the day of the BP (British Petroleum - 50% of ALL the oil lines in Alaska are British) oil spill when the Exxon Valdez oil tanker, that was being leased by BP, hit Bly Island on March 24th, 1989 and 11 Million gallons of oil spilled onto the Alaska coast line. The natives of Bly Island, who BP had actually fired as the emergency responders and had them replaced with PHANTOM WORKERS, had their entire culture destroyed by the BP Exxon Valdez oil spill. The effects of the spill were far reaching as the proportion of suicides, including the mayor of Cordova Alaska, that can be connected to this oil disaster would be equal to 40,000 human deaths comparable to the Gulf Coast disaster. If one visits the Prince William coastline today, there are still large deposits of that spill satiating the coastline. Until the BP (British Petroleum) Deep Water Horizon oil spill of 2010 that destroyed 600 miles of coastline, the British Petroleum Valdez oil tanker spill, which destroyed 4,000 miles of Alaskan coastline, was the worst oil spill in American history --- and it was 11 MILLION TONS. BP paid only $125 Million (out of insurance) for the Valdez disaster while Exxon, who had leased the tanker, paid out Billions. The Deep Water Horizon spill created an oil slick the size of the entire island of Jamaica due to the lack of skirts and any other emergency equipment that WAS NOT purchased by BP. Coincidentally, POTUS Barack Hussein Obama just signed an order allowing BP (British Petroleum) to put down another deep water track (hole) RIGHT NEXT to the Deep Water Horizon disaster that is still deeply effecting the wildlife, coastal jobs and health off those on the Texas/Louisiana coastline today. It sounds to me like its time to bring back the corporate death penalty by pulling the charter of a corporation and says you can no longer do business in or with America since you feel you cant protect the natural resources of the country from harm.
