A BIG thank you to all who called, sent messages/ SMSs of best wishes to me yesterday. As i paused and pondered, trapped in the mangrove swamps of the Niger Delta grinding out a living, i spared a thought for all the victims of senseless violence all over the world including my country Nigeria. What bothers me most is the religious extremist garb in which the violence is clothed. The scenes of gruesome massacres all over the media is most thought provoking? They stink like a bombed out sewer in Gaza. As i make the journey of another year, my earnest heart desire is a world where more emphasis will be laid on humanity, the love of God/man, and not of religion, evil/corruption, and most importantly, fraudulent clergy and politicians. Finally, i thank God for the experience of the feeling of an expectant father. God bless you all!!!
